Surrounded by flowers, crosses, hearts, animals and children, she watches over them all—including St. Francis himself—creating a colorful expression of love, compassion and protection. My original artwork is reproduced on fabric and hand-sewn by me onto the shirt, with the visible stitching becoming part of its handcrafted character.
On the front pocket, I added a strip of my playful black-and-white polka dot art fabric—a small, unexpected touch of whimsy against the simplicity of the white shirt.
